City Information Ecosystem Mapping

Resurgence, in collaboration with Internews, has supported the design and promotion of the City Information Ecosystem Mapping Tool to support decision-makers in understanding how inclusive two-way information flows can support urban community resilience and can enable the development of risk communication programme and early warning systems. The tool helps city authorities leverage trusted local influencers, media outlets and digital infrastructure in cities to create a strategic and operational plan for two-way risk communication to ensure that information reaches all citizens – no matter their geographic location, language, or access to technology.
