Resurgence Team and their Events at COP26 Glasgow
The Glasgow COP26 – UN Climate Change Conference is on the near horizon. Negotiations will cover key areas from higher carbon reduction commitments, rules for a global carbon market, reducing coal use and methane emissions to the critical $100 billion per annum for developing countries.
In Glasgow a new major new global campaign, #racetoresilience, and a coalition of 60 organisations convening around the Resilience Hub will be central to an unprecedented effort to raise the profile and currency of climate resilience and adaptation. To bring it into parity in status and urgency with that of climate change mitigation.
The Resurgence Team will be at COP26 to participate in this drive to raise resilience and adaption to its rightful place in the climate arena – a key goal of the UK Presidency.
